Hello,
the subject already tells most of the story:
I have a Focus 40 blue (40 cells). When I start brltty with -v, it
correctly tells me I have one row with 40 characters, however, it
acts like an 80-character display, that is, text to the right of cell
40 isn't scrolled to and when I press the next-window key, I move 80
characters in sted of 40.
This is on Ubuntu 16.04, fully updated and Brltty version 5.3.1. I
know there is a 5.4 available, however I saw nothing in the change log
to warrant an attempt to try it for this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My console width was set to 100 characters. Somehow brltty thought
therefore it needed to scroll 80 characters at a time. When I did a:
stty cols 80
and restarted brltty, all was as I hoped it would be.
With kind regards,
Henk.
