[BRLTTY] Android: Brltty Won't Read Home Screen

I downloaded
brltty-latest.apk
yesterday and still notice the problem that the home screen items are still not 
read on my Lollipop. All I see is
Quick Notifications
as I move through the items using the touch screen. Is this a Lollipop problem 
or a Brltty problem.
