Hi everyone, After restarting my computer (and making sure that i have one - and only one - brltty process running), I switched to console mode (Ctrl+ALT+F2) and ran my program from there. And it worked! So thank you very much for your help! Your input, as well as older posts, really helped me nag this down (although I am still not sure why it was not working in the beginning).Now I only have one more question: how do I pass the window ID of my main window to my application (as Samuel suggested)? How do I find this id, and where do I pass it? Thanks once more and best,TW
