This message is expected.  It comes from the Linux kernel driver for the
cdc_acm USB-to-serial interface used in HumanWare devices.

You might get rid of it by blacklisting cdc_acm in your modules
configuration.

# cat /etc/modprobe.d/cdc.conf
blacklist cdc_acm
