Is just brltty crashing, or is all of DOS crashing? I believe you said that you needed sighted help to make this determination. I don't know DOS very well at all, so I'm wondering why your asap screen reader (which I assume is speech) isn't showing it. Could you please add the option -ldebug,inpkts,outpkts and try again. I'm hoping that that'll give us a clue as to where the failure is occurring. Perhaps you could post the brltty.log file when you have it. Just attach it to a message to this list. Something else I'd like you to try is to specify -bno (no braille driver), and -btt (the TTY braille driver).
