Hello, I want to add another feature request for Brltty: Voice profiles Background is, that I read and write in two languages: German and English. At the moment it's relatively hard to switch the speech voice so that I often only use the German voice to read both languages, not very convenient.
I would need the following: 1. A shortcut to cycle through all specified languages (in my case there are only two) 2. An option to set different speech rates for each language cause I read German texts faster than English ones. Now I see two possible solutions: 1. You could build exact this function into Brltty. 2. You also could give Brltty a complete profile manager (much more work but not only useful for speech users I think). In this solution I for example could create a profile for reading books (activate contraction table), a second for programming (speak all entered characters) and so on. In this case I would add almost all Brltty settings to the profile. Then the user can save it, create a new one with other settings and switch between them with a shortcut. What do you think about that? Regards Eric
