Hi folks, I just updated to 3925 and it seems that something is wrong with selecting a contraction table.
Note that I'm on Cygwin, so that might affect things. I'm using an Alva ABT340 display. I first noticed the problem when I entered a misspelled contraction table name in /etc/brltty.conf. I used dots instead of hyphens; that is, "contraction-table en.us.g2". Brltty did not complain when it started, but it wouldn't go into contracted braille mode; just 6 dot mode. When I corrected the spelling it does go into contracted mode but the placement of the tables on the routing buttons in the preferences menu is not right. The first routing button, though it works fine for moving the cursor, does not set the contraction table to <off>; instead it has no effect. <off> is now on the second button. En-us-g2 is now on the 6th instead of the 4th button. At one point I thought the results of pressing the routing buttons were not consistent, but I might have been wrong or it might have been an artifact of the spelling error. Does anybody else see these problems?
