I have something in mind to get that working in a very generic way, i.e. that console applications would have an escape sequence to indicate where things should be read from (for instance the shell would spit it out right before running the command), but it'll have to involve TTY people and applications, so a long way to go. Doing it by modifying only brltty might be quite clumsy. One of the issues being that it would have to detect the scrolling...
