I was using Brltty with Brlapi and Orca (actually, Firefox/Iceweasel 3 beta 4), when the braille display disconnected and reconnected with the errors logged below.
The BRLTTY revision is 3630. I've had all sorts of hardware issues recently (not involving the braille display, fortunately). I very much hope this turns out to be software rather than hardware as I'm hoping that the hardware problems have been solved now. I still have suspicions about one of the ECC memory modules in this machine, but I've checked the kernel logs and there haven't been any ECC errors reported recently. Here is the log: Mar 30 18:39:27 jdc brltty[2403]: Baum Braille Driver: Mar 30 19:13:21 jdc brltty[2403]: BrlAPI connection fd=9 accepted: local #001@ Mar 30 19:21:19 jdc brltty[2403]: USB URB status error 75: Value too large for defined data type.
