Yes. The bless BrlAPI client has been developed especially for this purpose. It does this, and also it keeps track of the current position in a file when you leave it, so that when you re-open the file, you are put exacly where you were last time. Now for the bad news: it has not been relesed yet. This is mainly because it's written in the OCaml language and until a few days ago it was not completely obvious how to compile the Caml bindings for BrlAPI in brltty's sources.
