There are legal restrictions about putting campaign signs near polling places. We don't have early voting here, but they set up drop-off points for absentee (or as they now call it, vote by mail) voters this weekend. I dropped mine off and had to really stuff it into the box because it was very, very full... which tells me they were getting a bigger turnout than expected. I wouldn't have waited, I'd have just mailed mine if there had been a long line. I waited a couple of hours to vote last time around. That's one reason I am now a permanent vote-by-mail voter. Free coffee at Starbucks on Tuesday if you tell them you voted. And free ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. Anybody come across any other freebies?
