So, since attempting to persuade such people using logic only drives  
them deeper into dependence on blind (however misguided) faith, how  
*does* one go about reaching them with some element of truth?  Or even  
show them how in many cases they're being manipulated by unethical  
leadership that is skilled at playing on their prejudices and feeding  
them what they want to hear?
