The ones who call the monitor "the computer" and the CPU tower "the hard drive" .. The ones who call their web browser "the Internet" (or "my email") .. The ones who ask "how do I do that?" in response to instructions like "Select $x from the $y menu" (when the menu is clearly visible right in front of them .. The ones who ask "how do I do that?" when told to do something they've just done a minute ago .. (see above) The ones who swear the computer's Internet connection goes to the printer, until they finally realize they're looking at a USB cable .. then tell you there's nothing connected to the Ethernet port .. The ones who simply have to tell you how important they are and how unacceptable the answer you've just given them is .. because, of course, they're special .. and no matter how much you tell them the computer just doesn't work that way, demand that you fix it RIGHT NOW .. I've been there. So .. many .. times .. There is a fundamental difference between the mythical imagery we apply to reality and the reality itself. -- Me _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
