The International Astronomical Union
defined a planet as a celestial body
that orbits the sun, has enough mass
to be nearly round, and has cleared
the neighborhood around its orbit.
But here are some little-known
footnotes to the definition:

7> Planet Hollywood restaurants now really ARE planets.
6> If it is made out of green cheese, it is NOT a planet.
5> Designation as a planet will be decided by a panel of
three judges who will evaluate all potential objects'
characteristics and talents over a period of weeks and will
narrow down the list to one winner each season.
4> Planets will be added until there are no more Roman gods after
which to name them.
3> When counting free orbiting planets, Pluto and other inferior
orbiting objects count as 3/5 of a planet.
2> Depending on the density and mass, planets will be classified
as chunky or creamy.
