Of course. But then we're in a double-edged sword here too: As long as we're there, there will be an insurgency, but we have to stay there to help maintain order...

However, I doubt pulling up stakes and heading home will mean an end to the insurgency either; the current Iraq government doesn't seem to have a whole lot of legitimacy, and I think if we left, the attacks will continue to discredit the government, which I think is perceived as being a US puppet...
