You don't know how much of a godsend a dog is when you have toddlers
until it's gone for a few days. :)
One mother of toddler twins moved from one city to another, and was in a
second-story apartment in the new city. Their dog large was left with
her parents-in-law in the old city. She started spending a lot of time
each day trying to figure out how to manage a large dog in a
second-story apartment, because it was such a pain to deal with the
kitchen floor when the twins were done eating.
