I don't know about that formula. By that formula, the more stress you have, the better your life. I would argue that it should be more of a bell curve, where initially the more stress, the better life is, but then begins to level off and reaches an apex point where after that, the more stress, the worse life is.

How's that for nit-picking? :-)
