I presume they are rather strict. They wouldn't want to lose that
much business by getting a reputation for not being careful. IIRC
aflatoxin is produced by a fungus which grows on grain, so presumably
a small amount of diseased grain could have gotten mixed in harvested
grain and get shipped to the pet food manufacturer. Presumably it
could have been shipped to a people-food manufacturer instead.
