No. In this case that was the stated reason for the war. Bush convinced Congress and the people of the U.S. that Iraq was a threat. There was no other convincing reason to invade, and no one made any attempt to convince us that there were other compelling reasons to go to war. _We would not have gone to war if we had not percieved a threat._
