I think it favors hunt-and-peck typists, because the way I use a
keyboard, the entire middle of the bottom row, as well as the space
bar and option/alt/meta/control/whatever keys surrounding it would
be almost permanently blocked by my fingers, properly poised a
millimeter or so above the home row.
