I've been home for a few hours now. On the way home I checked everyone
in my families homes that were in my area. My sisters home had a small
bit of superficial damage, fences sagging and a porch lighting fixture
broken, and my Moms house had no damage but her power is out. Made all
the phone calls and let everyone know their status and what to expect,
then headed to my place.

No damage and all utilities are working, so we are relaxing a bit and
watching TV.

One knows when one has dodged a bullet.
One knows how lucky one is.
One knows he has been blessed.
One is grateful.

Being home is awesome.

Great! I'm happy for you.

Where Is That Rake? Maru

I know where three (plus one which need to have the handle replaced) are. I used one (the non-leaf one) briefly this morning to smooth out some dirt I dumped into a low spot in the back yard. (Been putting that task off for a couple of weeks, and that was my big accomplishment for the weekend at least: I just got up a few minutes ago after lying down ever since.)
