But that seems rather unfair to me. If, going by what you say, the fact of Jewish oppression for two millennia on certain continents gives the Jews the right to suspect any statement of carrying the seeds of anti-semitism, then surely, the fact of peaceful co-existence for two millennia on other continents confers an obligation to suspend that suspicion.
