I don't have any Livejournal pages that I am particularly interested
in, but I do read the esteemed Mr. Delong with my RSS reader with
regularity.

As of today, I have 37 RSS feeds that notify me when there are new
entries. Most are of only modest interest, but I have come to pay
attention when the "popupboxofheadlines" arises in the corner of my
desktop with a melodious "Ding".

It works very well for me. It allows me to keep up with pages I am
interested in while leaving time for more focused attempts at aimless
surfing.<G>
