Um. Why the hell do I care anyway? I don't think I do. After trying to like the first "Tek war" novel I gave up totally on Shatner's writing abilities.
He's not the best is he? Although I liked 'Ashes of Eden' (Trek Novel); well, as much as any self-respecting literary aficionado can actually 'like' a Star Trek novel I suppose...
As for the quote - I got it right. What Shatner means by it? Who the hell knows.
