I saw a report that the Company CO asked to be relieved. Usually that's followed by some inquiry into the officer's conduct, but I haven't heard anything about that. I agree with you that there is a serious breakdown here. How does a CO get so distant from her troops that she has no inkling of what they are thinking? How bad is it when sergeants think that their best option is mutiny? (And it was mutiny. The order was clearly lawful, might be dumb, but lawful.)
