I apologize. sincerely. (I have not yet read the
next two messages. I had already decided to do this.)

If John is good at pressing my buttons, it's not so
much his fault as mine. I am sure he does not see his
rationalizations as sophistries, or evnvision himself
as supporting the monstrously unsupportable.

Moreover, I can see that I may be viewed as
overbearing, dramatic, short-tempered, dramatic, and
dramatic.

But I have children. And I am loyal to a version of a
decent, moral, honest, agile and COMPETENT Pax
Americana that can accomplish many of the goals that
the neocons CLAIM they are trying to achieve in order
to spread democracy and prosperity around the globe.

The same neocons who are doing everything with levels
of outrageous incompetence and howling stupidity that
will kill not only Pax Americana but America itself.
Morons who have fallen for the worst trap since
Vietnam tore this country apart, following a president
who is owned and operated by evildoers who are bent on
our destruction.

So Dan, I am NOT inviting John to leave Brin-l. It is
more his than mine. I am simply inviting him to state
his case without addressing me when I state mine. Not
because I fear debating him. (I feel that I generally
win.) But because I do not have the time.

I pray that my fellow citizens will have the wisdom to
marginalize the monsters and force John to pick other
heroes. From a genuine american conservatism that
does not tear at our marrow like a raging cancer.
