It's difficult to offer a synoptic version of myself without resorting to labels, so I won't. I'll just say I've done software, still do, but am also running a small press that is more a response to unmet needs for writers and readers than it is a desire to Make A Million Dollars Overnight -- which means, of course, that I'm enjoying it enormously.
As for the labels, y'all'll have to wait to see what (if any) replies I post to the other threads, eventually, to make up your own.
BTW I finished _Kiln People_ a week or so back and will probably post a reviewish thing here eventually, unless actually posting a Brin-related note to Brin-L is considered OT.
