Come on now Dan, surely you can't believe that?  

Do you really rate Madison as being more liberal than San Fransico???

More importantly, ou of the Top 10, I would describe around 8 as being some
of the most conservative places in the country.     While surely Madison
benefits greatly from the presence of one of the best universities in the
world and the nearby presence of Chicago, it seems arguable that
conservative policies do pretty well in turning comparative backwaters like
Provo, Huntsville, Lexington, and Richmond into some of the best business
environments in the country.
