OK, that essentially fixes what I was having so much trouble buying. I couldn't see any reason why Saddam would quit trying to build or buy nuclear weapons, because he certainly wouldn't do it out of the goodness of his heart. These articles give a reason, and I *can* believe that his scientists tried for a long time and failed, then he gave it up to move on to some other scheme after Gulf War I wrecked his facilities. ______________________________________________________________________ Steve Sloan .........
