Ah, but just think what it COULD have been!
I kind of enjoyed the first season, but came to dislike the way they rewrote the past, doing things that we know from the later shows didn't really happen in the ST universe.
Perhaps it's all part of the Temporal Cold War. For all we know, the 'real' timeline may not be real at all. Just a thought...
