The way humans apologize is to say I'm sorry, I was wrong. And then shut up.
Must be an Aussie thing - I found Andrew's obviously fake apology both made a point and amused me. Maybe Mike's TV set isn't showing what we see at dinner time every night. (Most of which would only affirm Mike's previously stated feelings...)
