Do you think that non-Americans are so bereft of empathy or compassion that they cannot understand the situation you are discussing? Your comments skirt too close to racism for my comfort and I am somewhat appalled that you play "the ugly American" so carelessly. IMO you make the rest of us look bad. I sympathize with you. I've been squeezed out of an industry myself. But the grace with which we conduct ourselves when under great pressure increases our chances of later success. Nobody wants to hire a whiner, they want winners. You say your education is worth a third of a million? Surely there has to be some skill set in you or in your education that will allow you to thrive. If not, your money was wasted. If I were you, I'd go back and re-read some of what Erik was saying.
