You know what I find particularly interesting about OSC's paranoid rant is when you juxtapose it with the message behind Ender's game - didn't Ender and his boys wipe out an entire race after being attacked by them and then find out that the whole war was based upon a cultural misunderstanding?
Card has all of these entrenched ideas that are more a product of his own experience and religious beliefs than of empirical data or historical fact or, for that matter, an attempt to empathize with whose he condemns.
Maybe we should suggest he read his own book. <G>
