I realize that certain things are hot buttons for all of us, recognizing your own hot buttons is helpful. I am glad you want to accept differences, and sorry others occasionally jab at you. I think you need to trust that people do respect your right to have your positions without ongoing validation. My mom used to say... "give people the response they least expect", which may be a variant on "don't let others control your reactions/push your buttons". That being said, this must be the 23rd email that people pick on you (ok, I haven't really counted), and it would take a dense brain not to know how you feel. I am not sure how much more change you are going to effect with the same style emails.
