I've decided that from now on I'm as old as I feel no matter the looks.

You should - I enjoy sitting down with my son and just building stuff, especially the Technics stuff. I actually find it very relaxing to make something that works...
As for the vanity - don't forget the need for occasional pampering. Don't do stuff just to make you look good for other people, but sometimes a nice beauty treatment can make a woman of any age feel happier and more relaxed.
