Expatriate writers needed

A friend of mine is one of the founders of a new web site that is sort 
of a global collaborative blogging effort by people who are expatriates. 
 The idea is that an expat sees things as new and different in a way 
that the locals don't.  But they're also looking for a small number of 
professional writers, too.

My friend is the founder of a couple of very successful non-profits, as 
well as a leader in the open-source movement.
