Comparing the victory in Iraq with the English victory
at Agincourt is very, very dangerous. While the
English DID have a tremendous victory at that famous
battle, in the end it meant...nothing. A bit of
prestige for the combattants and more humiliation for
the French Crown. But it was the actual conquests of
Henry V that brought the French to the negotiating
table, and nearly fulfilled the objective of the
Enlgish Kings after Edward III -- securing the French
throne.

Similarly, the military victory in Iraq may mean
nothing if we can't win the war for peace...

Damon.
