Due to the ridiculous volume of virus-generated bogus postings to brin-l and other lists that we host, I've temporarily changed the list server settings to discard any non-subscriber postings. Normally, we have moderated them, checking to make sure that they are not legitimate posts. In 99 percent of the cases, they are bogus, but occasionally it is a list member posting from an alternate or slightly changed e-mail address.
This change means that if you post from another address, or your mail administrator makes changes that alter your return address (such as changing from "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"), your mail will silently disappear into the bit-bucket. Sorry about that... but if you see that your postings are not reaching the list, but others' are, e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] and we'll do what we can.
