"Revealed: food companies knew products were addictive
By Robert Matthews, Science Correspondent

Multinational food companies have known for years of research that suggests many of their products trigger chemical reactions in the brain which lead people to overeat, The Telegraph can reveal.

This research is fascinating. I remember reading the first relevant leads to this topic in Atkin's highly controversial "Diet Revolution" book. He also goes in extreme detail about the relationship between sugars and cravings, and the effects of mixing carbs and proteins in a meal, etc. When those first came out, it caused quite a stir!

By the way, did I forget to say it's great to be back on the list? And my greetings to all of you.

JJ
