> From: John D. Giorgis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > A 2000 Pew poll reported that 70 percent of Americans thought it was important to have a strongly religious president, and last year, a survey by the same group found that almost 50 percent of respondents felt churches and other religious groups should express their views on social and political subjects. > http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/Politics/religion030702.html
I'd like to see the demographics of the people they supposedly polled. I'd be willing to bet that Age and party are significant factors. Older people tend to be more religious, younger people tend to be less religious. Or you could find statistics by an independent source that isn't biased like say: http://www.adherents.com/ Adherents.com is an Internet initiative and is not affiliated with any religious, political, educational, or commercial organization. Adherents.com is the 2nd most frequently visited general religion site on the Internet. _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
