Since no one else has mentioned it I thought that I would mention Katherine Hepburn's recent death on Sunday past. Ms. Hepburn was possibly the finest actress in American film for over six decades (her only competition might be Meryl Streep); nominated for an Academy Award 12 times, she won four Best Actress awards. Her roles include the nutty heiress in 'Bringing up Baby', Jo in 'Little Women', the addicted mother in 'Long Day's Journey', Rosie in 'The African Queen', the athlete in 'Women of the Year', et cetera, et cetera. Ms Hepburn was a prototypical feminist who made her own rules. She will be missed.
