Well, it was basically a run in with a very Orthodox sect of Judaism at an age where I did'nt fully appreciate some of the situation. To be honest, I am unconfortable with some of the Orthodox *traditions* which as a Masorti I don't feel at all bound to keep. > I haven't been around any Amish myself. The closest I think I've come For obvious reasons I've never met any Amish, heh. I've met some "back to the Earth" Wiccans who had a small community (in Poland, of all places) where they could live without high tech (they still worked in the nearby city, they just refused to have it in their homes), but that's about it.
