I agree, but that is not the choice in Iraq. What's done is done. Next time, we should do better. I hope people take into account foreign policy when casting their votes in 2004.


I started to reply to the rest of your post, but feeling as I do, that war is all but inevitable, my heart really isn't in it. It seems too late to argue.

My thoughts are with our kids over there, and with their loved ones back here, with the helpless Iraqi people who have, and will continue to suffer the most, and even with the Iraqi foot soldiers whom certainly will die in large numbers fighting halfheartedly for someone they probably hate more than you or I do.

May the fighting be over quickly, and may humanity assert itself wherever it is most needed.
