No, they *bought* it as I recall. Certainly they got quite a bit of 
their resupply from overseas sources, both specified and not.

As I said - that can be laid squarely at the feet of the then-PM. NOT 
the IDF as a whole, which performed magnificiently to win even WITH 
American supplies.

You mean the American "mercenaries" who were involved in some of the 
later fighting? Or the diplomatic arm breaking behind the scenes?
