Consider the fact that Israel can easily hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with conventional weapons, considering the fact that the Palestinians and other Arabs continually try to destroy Israel, your surprise at the fact that Israel is much more restrained and humane than the Palestinians indicates to me a love of theory over data.
