I'm not really sure that there is a resolution that does that. Indeed, 242 specifically does not call for Israel to withdraw from "all" territory. On of the authors of 242 has recently reaffirmed that this was deliberate.

Let me clarify then.


This resolution is a perfect example of America's inconsistency wrt enforcing UN resolutions. This resolution was unanimously accepted in November 1967, but Israel still hasn't withdrawn from those territories.

If the US feels it is so vitally important that UN resolutions be abided by (to the point that it is willing to go to war over it), why hasn't the US also used its military might to enforce Resolution 242 and kick Israel out of the disputed territories?

If the US feels it is so important that UN resolutions be carried out, it should at least be *consistent* about it.
