The title of the article is "How Free-Riding French, Germans Risk Nuclear Anarchy". It's a very good point. I would say that compared to the American public, I'm six sigma out there in terms of internationalist feelings. And at the moment, if Yugoslavia were to fall apart again and France and Germany came to the US (again) to bail them out, I think my reaction would involve some four letter words to emphasize the extent to which I would be uninterested.
