Personally I think he is spewing preparatory propoganda to keep the faithful
happy.....and in line.

I cant see any way that even the US could defeat an entrenched enemy on
their home court in just a matter of a day or two. Maybe a week if
everything  worked perfectly, but I suspect even that is overly optimistic.
