Speaking as someone who a year and a half ago watched hijacked planes crash into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the Pennsylvania countryside, and who has repeatedly watched groups of various Arabs marching in the streets and chanting "Death to the Great Satan," my response is "And this would be a bad thing why exactly?"
Worse, from a French point of view, if in the long run, the war goes well for the US, then the US will gain power over France.
Again, considering all the French have done for us recently, this will be a bad thing why exactly?
