Is it just Eudora? Or Eudora + some other program (like spamassassin)?

I don't know. I'm using Eudora (version 5.2.0.9) to read and filter messages here. I'm not using SpamAssassin here, so I'm not sure where the SpamAssassin stuff was added: whether Nick has been using it, or whether it was one of the anti-spam/anti-virus programs AT&T installed after they said a few months ago they were going to start filtering all mail going through their servers, or what. The only messages I have received which (1) had SpamAssassin notices attached and/or (2) went to my "In" box rather than my "Brin-L" box have been those in this series from you concerning Bush. I can send you (or Nick, if he wishes) a copy of the message with the SpamAssassin notices intact: I snipped them from the earlier message because there were over 40 lines worth of them.

Anyway, as I said, it's a mystery to me, which is why I thought I should bring it to your attention. I'm sorry that doing so annoyed others on the list: I thought that if I was getting these messages perhaps someone else on the list might be having the same problem and would weigh in and the additional information might help track down where the problem was originating.

Whose least creation fills with awe,
O grant thy mercy and thy grace,
To those who venture into space.
